In general, air showers must be added to laboratory areas with higher cleanliness levels. The level of clean room is mainly divided according to cleanliness, and at present, it is mainly divided into two categories of 100,000 and 300,000.

In general, the air pressure of the main passage of the experiment is ≥300 pa lower than the unclean area (outdoor), (that is, the personnel are forced to enter the buffer corridor when they exit/enter (of course, the new air unit is equipped with a fresh air unit to ensure constant pressure air supply in this corridor), and then through the "air shower" (nozzle to clean the dust particles on the body) to enter the purification workshop. This process can reduce the speed of dust brought into the human body and speed up the drying of hair to prevent static electricity.

The general dust-free clothing is a special clothing that is restricted to use in a certain area by attaching a layer of fine, invisible small dust particles or fibers to the outside of the ordinary work clothes. Therefore, it is necessary to set up air shower facilities for entering and leaving the clean area. In addition, there are higher levels of ultra-clean equipment also need to be equipped with air shower equipment. The presence of these devices not only guarantees the cleanliness of the laboratory area, but also ensures the accuracy and reliability of the experimental results.
